New art work for " Olga Walks Away" novel
Hey all, just wanted to let you know that over the past year or so I've been working hard on a new novel for our album Olga Walks Away. It's a fictional fairy tale ( or is it?) based on the journey of our character Olga. The words will be accomponied by original artwork, giving the reader a visual of what's happening in the story... pretty exciting stuff. The writing itself has been on and off, as inspiration always comes and disappears in the blink of an eye ( as anyone who creates will attest to...). I try to write and draw when the mood is right, and take off when the time isn't so right... this way, the book will be completed in proper form... from the heart.
So, that being said, I'm attaching one of the new art pieces up with this post. The drawing is in rough format, with a LOT of work yet to be done, but you'll get the idea in the picture... More to come, so keep checking back with us!

Aunt Ange had the great pleasure of working with the great photographer Shervin Lainez this past month. Not only did Shervin express some great artistry out there, he was also a great person to hang out with. Normally we don't feel to comfortable in front of a camera, but Shervin made us feel right at home. Special thanks to Shervin Lainez for taking some time out of his busy schedule to take some pictures with us.
